Ultimate Footy is back for another year.

Warning:

Anyone can play, but there is one simple rule.

You must play the season.
It only takes 5 minutes each week (at the barest minimum) to make sure all the guys on field for your team are playing.

Over the past 3 years we have had problems with people finding they have a crap team and they lost interest.

This completely roots it for the rest of us.

I have been in the position of having a crap side. I know.
It is imperative you don't trade out all your great players once you are dusted. Or the comp is crap and becomes one sided (as happened last year)

I see there's an option to resurrect our league from last year as a keeper league

I will play for sure. the best fantasy game by far. But as said above, if you are not committed and a fantasy footy junkie then this is not the game for you.

I assume we are doing a live draft again? It's the only way to go.


We need a way to punish those who pull out during the year and dont respond to PM's !!

Maybe everyone puts in $50
12 teams = $600

18 teams = $900

20% goes to the winner.
10% to the runner up

10% goes to the winner of the bottom finals
5% to the runner up.


And then all the left over money is returned equally to everyone who kept playing !

I can go without $50 for a year.



Either that or we get a mod on board.
Failure to respond to emails regarding lack of movement cops a yellow.

Stuffing up the entire comp gets you a red.

Money option is better !

I like the idea of paying, however say we had 12 teams, that is $600 a break down something like this...

Winner $250
Runner up $100
other finalists (4 )$50 - money back..

If you win your 'runner up' grand final for the bottom six you also get your $50 back, so an incentive to keep playing.

I would happily part with $50 - not only because I would like to win everybody's $$$, but also because it encourages the integrity of the competition. Only those committed will pay to play, and the chance to at least break even should be big enough incentive to stay active.

I'm not to sure how it works. I've registered and now i have to set my league up. Do i wait for the code or go to public league. If i select a public league am i still able to be a part of this league.
Forgive me if that sounds like a stupid question.

you can enter a public league and still enter this league when you get the name/ password later on.
