How does everyone update their software?
The reason i ask is this - i found a program called CatchUp, which searched my computer for known programs and showed me a list of available updates from the download.com servers.
However, the b*stards at Cnet have stopped that program so i cannot update my software in one hit.
I am aware of automatic updates in most programs, but for those programs without such programs, i cannot update them (as i like to have the latest version, i find this frustrating).
So, does anyone on this marvellous board know of any programs that does the above? Search through all existing programs on a person's computer and give a list of available updates?
