Yes, that was a fiar ar$e whoopin' you gave our boys the other day.

I was expecting a close match but in no way was I expecting the mother of all floggings. Your boys were playing like demons possesed (btw how much did you pay the all mighty dark one ).

oh well, I'll just head off back to the Eagles board, stew on it a bit more and look forward to when we play ya's next year (or in the finals if we want to be optimistic )

It was a fantastic win. Very exciting to have been there. And it shows the type of footy we can play with a bit of senior quality back and as a result self belief. The young kids are improving in leaps and bounds. But the most crucial thing was that there were no passengers. The Eagles were a bit down without Gardiner and Jacovich-but they way the Sainters were playing don't know that it would have made that much of a difference.

our boys put in an absolute shocker, but the bloke who most impressed me was Aaron (spelling) Hamil, he was just unstoppable. Best of luck for the rest of the year Saints.

Thanks for that mentalgrind. Yes Hamill was sensational. He last played (with difficulty) against Collingwood but was back to his (near) best on the weekend. Good luck to the Eagles for the rest of the year (unless of course we have to play you at some stage again).

Yeah well done Saints, too good for us on the day. Its amazing how much difference it makes when i few senior players come back into the mix. Your lot have to be the best bunch of youngsters in the comp, barring maybe Freo. But even Freo dont have the likes of Reiwoldt and Kosi...looks like an Eagle may finish second to a Saint in the Rising star again this year. Although neither of them played that well on Sunday. Im not complaining though, im pretty happy with Kerr and Judd

One thing that really annoyed me was Garry Lyon once again showing his knowledge about football. "Im not sure who West Coast have to come in?" referring to how badly we were getting beaten and with not much help to come back into the side.

Now im not saying that if Matera, Jako and Gardiner played would we have won or would it not have been a flogging but how can an apparent football expert not notice that West Coast second best player and second most important player in Gardiner not be on the paddock. Also our best defender and one of our best midfielders not in the game. How can he miss three of West Coasts best players?? Does he truly know nothing about football or what?
