Agree. Being close to the areas of Churchill and Traralgon South, I can only pass on my best to all those fighting the fires and all those in it.

I wish also to pass on my congrats to whoever made the call to play the Bulldogs v Dons game at the telstra dome this weekend with all funds going to the releif fund. Whether it was the AFL, or the respective footy clubs, it is a noble effort and one that will not be forgotten.

If you go to the NAB website and then to the media centre if has all the details there. I just donated $100 and call on all of those that can to donate as well it will all help in such terrible times.

Just a suggestion to check with your employer, especially if you work for a big company - we gave yesterday and found out my partner's employer (Origin) is matching all employee donations, so it's worth checking in case you can double or add to your own donation that way.

Also heard this morning that Coles are donating their day's takings on Friday, and I'm sure lots of other businesses are doing something similar at some time or other - checking is another easy way to increase the total pool given to respond to this tragedy, for spending money you'd be spending somewhere some time anyway.

Our thoughts are with you all over there. I urge all South Australians to give give & give. Every day the toll increases, and the loss of loved ones is really impossible for those of us not involved to understand. I'm sure by now nearly every family in Victoria must be in some way connected.
If you need help, please take all that is offered, now when you need it. Disaster fatigue will set in later and people forget, so use it now. Money & goods may help but all we can offer for you loss is our heartfelt empathy.
You Victorians are tough, so hang in there, better days will come.
