Any word on who and when it will be appointed? Do you think Deano (Dean Jones) will get a look in? Bill Lawry anyone?

The VCA have said they will make an appointment in the next two weeks which suggests one of the two assistant coaches or Shaun Graf will get the job ..... if it was my decision id go for Geoff Marsh!

I can't keep track of Geoff Marsh. Every month I heard a newspaper report that he's decided to take an overseas coaching job, then to say he doesn't want to leave Australia for whatever reason. Does anyone know what he's up to right now - coaching Zimbabwe or an international country team?

Geoff Marsh has taken over as coach of Zimbabwe from Carl Rackemann, this took affect on the 1st of October.

What about Dav Whatmore? He hasn't got a gig has he?

Dav is still coach, in the recent Sri Lanka V Bangladesh Test there were Dav quotes in the press releases and according to the Sri Lanka home page on cricinfo he is still coach.
