Well Claremont ended up winning comfortably, with young Mitch Morton kicking 3 goals :D
It was more than comfortable. We smashed them. :D

EPFC = Pathetic!

That was the most pathetic display of footy i have seen from this club in donkeys years. What makes it worse is our team on paper is up there with the best of them!

Ah well, Claremont played well in all 3 grades so far for East Perth havent won a game in any grade....

Im not going to comment much more on our performance :mad:

Yep, I didn't think Claremont would be this could after losing so many players but they have some fine replacements from their colts and reserves teams.

I should have known better.

I cant remember the last time Claremont didn't make the colts finals.

Good to see the youngsters making an impact.

Bye:
West Perth

A dark day for my beloved EPFC, and unfortunately my boy didn't have an impact either. We've got, IMHO, 3 forwards who are up there with the best in the WAFL yet Ridley was the only one to shine today (if you can call it that given the circumstances), and was our only goalkicker to 3/4 time. A few undisciplined acts, e.g. giving away frees which cost us goals, and Clark being reported for taking out Walton. I truly believe have the talent though, but we need to get our s*** together to meet Joondalup in 5 days time. If we're gonna play like we did today you'd have to question whether it'd be worth showing up. The other grades didn't do much better. Very disappointing given I know we can play better, and it was a good day for footy.

From an AFL players perspective; Jeremy Humm battled hard but lacked support. Daniel McConnell wasn't bad either. Beau Wilkes got some handy touches for Claremont (also had the ball passed straight to him by our guys on a couple of occasions! :( ) and Mitch Morton showed good signs for such a young guy while Rowan Jones was handy.

claremont had a smashing day out!! but it did come at a cost. a broken collarbone, a chin that needed stiching and a nasty deep cut on the head that needed an ambulance! just as we were trying to get all the players off the injury list too!

No worries Adelaidehawk.

Should have some attendance figures, leading goalkickers etc tommorrow.

You did. I'm not a Claremont fan, but I was interested in how the young eagles in both teams would play.
