We have four in Benjamin, Anderson, Walker and Betts. We do have three Indigenous players in the team though.

I think you need to lighten up just a bit. There is nothing odd about highlighting the special talents of Aboriginal football players. To say it is tokenism is so condescending. It is one of the very few avenues available to what are THE MOST oppressed indigenous people of any western nation, in fact their life expectancy is amongst the lowest in the world.....and one of the very few opportunities which they have to escape this and be recognized for their genuine talents you deride as tokenism.
Sometimes it just makes me sick to come on these boards. I'd have another half dozen Aboriginal players in our team in a heart beat. The only way they are going to get their is if they are the best in the land you morons, but going after them is awesome idea.
Sheedy has implicitly praised the traits of Aboriginals and highlighted the unique qualities.
To ignore the special talents of Aboriginals and denegrade the idea to mere tokenism is not only the height of stupidity it is also verges on the distasteful.

With about 2% of the population being Aboriginal it is the equivalent of Canberra producing all of the above players.
Phenomenal really, Canberra with about 400,000 population the same as the Aboriginal.
Find some respect.
Sheedy named Daniel Kerr in an Aboriginal team he put together a few years ago.
