Hopefully if hes not playing for the royals its because he'll be playing for us tomorow.

If it is his knee, then thats just gut-wrenching. :thumbsd:

your kidding, where you hear that? are you saying another knee injury?

Sorry guys, jumped the gun. I just got another sms from a mate who works down with the royals. It is his knee but only a strain from overuse. Understandable as he has been pushing all known barriers to get back so quick.

he got a knock to his knee at freo training this week. nothing serious and should be able to play next week. dilemma is, the royals have a bye next week, so he can either play ressies for another club, or in the seniors with freo!

lachie reid asked him before the game why he was not playing and he replied "general soreness".

either way its nothing serious by the sounds of it. he had his knee scanned and it revealed nothing but bandaids and cable ties

cable ties

You could be on a gold mine right there.

The problem with any join injury is that the muscles controlling that joint atrophy to a certain extent. Wouldn't be a bit shock if he's just strained something.

As long as the knee is structurally sound still (fingers crossed for the bloke).
