Just finished Godless on Nitflux

Cinematography and atmospherics are awesome, Jeff Daniels is excellent amongst some very strong performances

Only knock is that it can be a little slow, sort of bloke rides up on a horse for 15 seconds, pan to 2 or 3 people waiting for him, back to the bloke on the horse for 10 seconds, watch him dismount and tie up the horse for 15 seconds then start the scene sort of thing.

Roughly 40 secs of screentime that could be compressed to 7-8. Repat 5-6 times an ep and it gets a little sapping.

Needs work and a further edit IMO.

But if you like a gritty western give this a go.

Started watching this on the back of your recommendation.

Stunning.

I think the pacing is just fine for a western.

Although I enjoyed watching five minutes of a guy sweeping peanuts off a bar floor

My daughter has it ergo I have it. I watched the doco. It confirmed a club in bad shape which thanks to new owners appears to be on the way back.

I know it’s way old but enjoying watching Breaking Bad atm - currently still only in season 2. Also enjoyed Ozark. Equally outrageous plot lines.

Watched crazy doco Icarus this week. Also movie 12 Years a Slave.
Other than that it is sport. Started watching 2013 Star Trek movie tonight on netflix trial but 20 minutes in, I paused and not sure I going back unless someone convinces me it gets more interesting and worth 2 hours of my time. Not impressed with too much CGI at start of movie.
