What can I do with a .DAT file?

OK. Firstly, is the file completed downloading? Fully?

If it is then my guess is that some git has copied it straight from a VCD and therefore you should try playing it through Windows Media player 6.1or 6.4. NOT 7!

To do this simply go to the start menu and run and then type mplayer2.exe

Then open it from there and it should work. Let me know if it dosent.

You might also find some instructions from kazaa itself. People sometimes say you have to rename a file to such and such. If M29's suggestion doesn't work, also try playing with Real Player, although that application can be a bit fussy, you might actually have to put a '.rm' extension on it.
