"Fitzroy's relocation to Queensland caused quite a stir, but was the only way to continue the Lions name. They reverted to a slight variant of their original 1880's jumper by changing red back to maroon creating the link to Queensland's state colour, the monogram saw the 'F' for Fitzroy changed to 'Q' for Queensland and a golden yoke mimicking the original chamois re-enforcing look"
