The last game I see is us smashing the Tiges, then I go on a week-long musical odyssey to the US of A, where Footy news is, of course, non existent, and I haven't the time to stop at internet cafes. I get back today, missing 2 rounds, and see we've suffered 2 bad losses, slipped to 5th from 2nd and we have injuries all over the place!! If anyone can be bothered, can someone gimme a basic rundown on what has gone wrong???:thumbsd::(

Roughead and Croad as the key forwards and Buddy, Willo,Boiler and Sam sitting in the stand. This was the living Hell presented to us yesterday. Under those circumstances we would have lost to anyone, Carlton and Richmond included. Roughead was exposed on the opposition's best defender. Without truly talented players around him ( all out injured ) his long list of weaknesses are fully displayed. Bloody awful

R u Peter Allen's love child:confused:

As a good young side with few injuries we have shown we can beat rabble. Throw in a decent team and a few injuries and we're just a mid table battler. Just hope we win enough games to make the finals, as this site is going to get ugly if we don't.

Roughead was exposed as a twenty year old playing in his third season in the hardest position on the ground with his team mates either kicking it over his head or at his bootlaces or not even getting it too him on the full. Bloody awful? See you in three years time mate, get on here and bag the power forward of the comp!

I have as much hope for Roughy as the next hawk, but lets not make too many excuses for a bloke who has played 50 games.
He dropped a few that he should have gobbled, and his kicking was appalling. Crap kicking has nothing to do with who you are playing on.
Roughy has played 2 very good games this year against 2 of the weakest sides. Out of his 50 there are probably only about 10 that have been above average.
Despite his age and supposed inexperience, it is ok to want more, and to want better.
Out of our 30-60 game players he has probably been the least effective.
I am not dissing him, or putting the boots in, but regardless of who he played on on Sunday he had a very very bad game and there were absolutely no excuses for most of his mistakes.
It is ok to want and expect more from a player with his reputation.
