When do SC leagues lockout?

I'm trying to coordinate a few leagues and I'm wondering if anyone can help me as to when the leagues lockout - that is to say - when are the unfilled league spots get populated by random coaches?
Is it:
At R1 partial lockout Saturday
At R1 complete lockout next Friday
At leagues game 1 (which I believe is R3)

If anyone can shed some light that's be greatly appreciated.

Well I emailed the SuperCoach support team who have got back to me very quickly on this. Thought I'd share the answer for anyone else who may have the same quiry...


Thank you for your email.

Leagues will be merged at the end of round 1. We strongly recommend you finalise your league/s prior to the full lockout next Friday night. Any incomplete teams will be replaced with other teams.
