Its going to be very hard to teach these fiji kids the right skills, its not like they grow up with a ball in their hands - or even know what a football is.
If your lucky, you get a big raw athlete like Nick Nat, and lets not forget he couldve represented Fiji in the Olympics, so he might well just be one out of the box - and therefore Claytons quest for the next Nick Nat, might prove fruitless, still definately worth a try, but id let the bullies go alone on this one..
If anything, Im sure there would be more Buddys out there in the aboriginal communities that arent even playing footy, as a lot go down the wrong track, but are superbly talented - and often athletic.
Might be worth exploring this a bit further - Kevin Sheedy style.
