Didn't get this from my usual source but something I heard around the traps. Apparently we are after this kid which if true I am happy about. He would give us a young ruckman/forward that we can develop and he has a bit of mongrel in him. He already copped a 2 match suspension this year:D

I very much doubt that Western Bulldogs would let him go that easily but its worth a shot. If I recall correctly he is out of contract as is Cameron Faulkner who we have also shown interest in.

Profiles of both boys :)

Cameron Faulkner

Wil Minson signed a 2 year deal 3 weeks ago, seems happy at the club and is a popular person around the club. Won an award at our beat and fairest.

I know Neil Craig thinks very highly of Cam Faulkner, so I hope he stays I think he is out of contract but I cannot be sure. His first year was riddled with injury, but I think Dogs and Eade are keen to hold onto the young players at the dogs.

Thanks for the kind rating of Minson but he is contracted for a few more years now. There could be a chance of landing Bandy for a fair deal.

I must admit I am disappointed to hear that big Will has signed on:( I would have loved to have him at the club.

We have been keen on Faulkner for a while now and I think there is a fair chance we will have a fair dinkum crack at getting him this time around. We wanted to pick him up in the draft but you guts had picks well before us.

Getting Bandy must stick in your guts Mike and here you are on the mainboard saying Adelaide got ripped off...Freo ripped you guys on that one :D

They have given away their 2nd best player in the B&F behind Riccuito and gained nothing more than a young fringe player with potential from Melbourne.
I thought S.Thompson had an ok season but he is definately not worth pick 12.
Melbourne have done well from the deal and i congratulate them.
West Coast have also gained a good player in Stenglein.
With Neil Craig at the helm Adelaide have already had the wool pulled over their eyes in their first trade and only have a late 20s draft pick and a player who is undersized, questionable about if he is in the starting 22 at best, and all up Adelaide Crows were ripped off.

Still bitter over 97/98?

I actually was happy with the Bandy trade and he has been a valuable player when fit.

I used to go to school with Big Will, but knowing him I'd like to think he would be a one-club man. Has family there and would be happy to stay. Popular bloke at school, no surprise he is pop over at the doggies. Absolutely killed all schoolboy games in the ruck, nobody could beat him and now he has added a good 15kg since he was at school. Must be massive. Got talent and will become a force in the ruck at AFL level in the coming years.

Thanks for the insight Thunderstruck. Wil is a popular bloke at the club especially amongst his peers, they think very highly of him. He has impressed me greatly everytime I have heard him speak, seems like a likeable bloke and a big bloke at that. Happy to have him, he is developing a cult following amongst the supporters.

how does this show bitterness? It is just an opinion. Could be right or wrong.

I am sooo sick of this "there is no right or wrong, just opinions" correctness. do you want a ******* hug as well.

it's on the main board as well.

take off your kaftan, leave the sandals at the door, and feel free to express your views and be criticised for them as well.

Some opinions are not ok, utter tripe is not valid and I sick of people telling me to play nicely. In my world you are judged by the quality of your opinions, right or wrong, and I am ok with that.

we are becoming a pre-school.

Draft Pick, I am not so much singling you out, though as above you are also guilty, but this is a new movement on Big Footy and I am expressing my opinion on it.

Gee wiz what a response to a simple statement surrounding the value of a trade in a football competition. :D What I found strange about your previous post was you assumed that someone was bitter about the Crows beating the Bulldogs in '97 '98 because they said the Crows had been ripped off in a trade. Thats all! I wasn't being overally philiosphical about life based on posts on a football website like you obviously do. :p

look i know, and you were probably unfairly singled out.

However I stand by points about this odious trend.
