I know what Woosha meant when he said that we are focussing our prepartion on Round 1.

Its clear that by belting whichever team we played tonight, that we have a better chance of hosting the grand final at Subiaco. Which of course means less travel and hence a better run at Round 1

Very hard to choose. Everyone played well. Very impressed with Lynch and Staker tonight. Brett Jones was also good - made one or two errors, but was hard at it and got plenty of ball.

Brett Jones was also good - made one or two errors, but was hard at it and got plenty of ball.

Really has worked hard over the summer building his body up. So hard at the ball he was fantastic to watch.

Best game I have seen for years, especially the 8min - 4 min mark from 1/2 time. Sampi's 2 tackles in a row to win a free kick was great to see.

Woosha has this team mentally tuned.

congratulations on the win over the roos ,i know most people will say its only the wiizard cup, which is true , but the way the eagles totally devastated the roos , it was an awsome performance. a couple of days ago on the main board , someone asked about the eagles chances for the flag this year .when i replied that i think that they are certs , and that the eagles have the best midfield in the afl , best ruckman returning from injury,some of the best young up and coming kpp.some of the replies from some not so smart ass people was a joke.i dont know your draw at home this season , but cant see you losing a game over in the west.i will be putting my hard earned on you guys,good luck in the season proper ,except when you play the pies.
