If the Campo pick-up falls through (Collingwood take first bite), would there be any chance Woey would find his way to Bomberland?

Once again, not sure whether I'd be happy with either situation.

yes i agree, he would be an awful inclusion to our team.

at least campo has the skills

How many good games has he played against us? Maybe 1. I hear he played well the last game of '03, but I was interstate.

I'll be losing the lunch with adge.

no chance in woewoeful making it to essendon, what exactly is he good at. I think we have to many players like him that are probably more skilled then him to, im talking about the johnsons and the peverills even heffernan and now it seems lonergan.

Campo offers something different where he runs the lines, he has pace and can kick goals, will also more then likely take a tagger whereas woeful wont. Its either campo or a young fella like rischbieth or jackson.

Guys,
i dont understand why you guys dont want Wowoden??? People seem to think pace is so important because its drilled into us from the silly Media that havent played the game before. When he is on song, he is just as good as camp. Compare a list of traits in both camp and wowoden and i think when they are both on song, they are very simulare.

Incorrect on all levels.

Campo played good footy in 2005, Woewodin didn't. Campo is closer to his best than Woewodin.

Campo has toe, carries the ball and has high quality foot skills. That addresses the requirements of our midfield. Woewodin does not.
Woewodin has adequate foot skills but is a plodder.
The fact is, Woewodin really hasn't played back-to-back good games since his Brownlow year. Campo still averaged 20+ last season.

Campo is most likely to attract a tag at Essendon. That will release another player and probably take pressure off a young Stanton. I can't see Woewodin becoming the focus of opposition coaches, he just doesn't impact games of footy anymore.

If you are Matthew Lloyd, who would you rather have running towards you carrying the footy? Campo or Woewodin?
And who is actually more likely to be carrying the footy? Campo or Woewodin?

In 2004, Wowy came runners up in Collingwood's B&F and had a good year!!!! in 2005, he played 15 games and 8 of those games he put in a good performance, he is not in inside player that get the ball out of the middle, he is a reciever and his foot skills are just as good if not better than campo, all camp has over wowy is his foot speed.

Woewodin's foot skills in 2005 were nothing short of ordinary. He has never had the depth in his kicking, nor the accuracy that Campo has. Let's remember he was delisted by a club that needs skilled midfielders. Campo was still a required player at Carlton and was offered a contract but declined.

Campo also kicks goals, many more than Woewodin.

The biggest thing Campo has over Woewodin is form. Woewodin isn't a shadow of his former self, Campo still played very good footy in 2005.

The biggest factor, Campo would be in our best 22. Woewodin wouldn't.

Not a hope, poorly skilled and soft.. The youngsters would be well in front of him in the Bombers best 22.

i diagree with that comparison.
he won his Charlie as an outside midfielded who ran forward into space. absolutely nothing like the Johnson's and pev.
I saw a fair bit of the dees in 2000 and his game could be very closely related to that of camreon bruce. His problem was that collingwood tried to change his game and put too much of a load on his shoulders, weather he couldn't handle it or he lost confidence as a result nobody knows but i personally think we could do a lot worse than him.
In no way am i on the "get woewodin" bandwagon but if we do get him, my judgement will be reserved until he has a couple of games under his belt for us.
