Rumour Worsfolds 2013??

Was talking to a couple mates who are Eagles fans and mentioned how this year Worsfold looks so stressed, like he has lost weight and just generally doesn't look as fit and healthy as usual.

The reply I got was that sadly his marriage has broken down and he's actually shacked up with a younger girl and hence has moved out of the family home etc.

Makes sense to me, hopefully not true, but something seems to have changed in his life. Just doesn't seem the same fella as he was in previous years

He is a good bloke, numbnuts. Just like John Worsfold seems an affable guy, not a w***er, and someone who should be able to stress about his own issues without the intrusion of Perth bogans obsessing over things that are totally irrelevant.

it's not really irrelevant unfortunately if it affects his professional life. Now I'm not saying it IS affecting his professional life, but you also can't rule it out given the Eagles drop off this year - it may well be impacting his performance.

I raised this thread purely in sympathy of the guy - not to have a go. He's always been a favourite of mine and I think it's concerning how beaten up he looks. Feel sorry for the guy.

What amuses me is how sanctimonious Weagles fans get when you bring the subject up, not withstanding it's having a materially adverse effect on their team's poor performance. "Don't talk about that - it's personal". I wonder if the same people where so holier than thou when the Anthony Stevens / Wayne Carey affair ripped the Kangaroos apart? They would have been loving it.

I heard he and Suma had a really good thing going, if you know what I mean, and he pines daily for those days. Instead of coming home he goes down and walks around Freo Oval, weeping.
