Best win was yesterday, I had Viewed each way, Vigor for the place and got 30% of the trifecta

In 2008 I was fortunate enough to win an online footy tipping comp thru one of the corporate bookies, with first prize being $10K in free bets. Unfortunately 50 bets of $200 over the spring carnival was not a goer as the comp's T&C stated no more than five bets were allowed.

I always have a fair crack at the Brownlow exotics, so I did my homework and used two of the bets on the Cats to get over 110.5 votes ($3,250 @ 1.85) and to get b/w 111-115 votes ($1,000 @ 2.85). They received 112 votes, with Adam Goodes getting 2 votes in a 14 possession 7 goal loss to the Cats nearly being a spoiler.

I was pretty confident of the 1st bet getting up so I also lobbed some of my own hard earnt ($100W $250Pl) on Adam Cooney @ $17win/$5place.

A profit of $7,200+ was a nice way to start a premiership week.

had $300 on eagles to beat sussex in t20. it looked dead but went to a superover in which eagles won 9-0. paid 2.75

also put $50 on T&T when they played NSW the other day. i put it on after NSW innings when they made 170. this bet also looked dead but TT amazingly won with an over to spare. it paid 5.50.

T20 cricket is awesome.

Just wondering what your best win has ever been. Whether it be on the horses, footy, golf or Miss Universe . Doesn't mean your biggest, could of been the one at massive odds, or the one that had your last penny on it.

Mine, was only last year on Caulfield Cup day when me and a mate hadn't won all day and a horse named Sunburnt Land came and romped home in the 9th race which we had loaded up on. We went from going home and eating 2 minute noodles to going to our favorite steakhouse smashing a 500g steak and a couple of good bottles of wine with some other mates. Best ever.

Close second is at uni when we had a pub crawl and we ended up at a pub with a TAB and everyone got on the last dogs race at who knows where. Everyone bet on number 8 which got up. Think I only won like $20 but the atmosphere was the best.

Probably three good wins that I am proud I had.

I had the Crows at $1.60 in my predictions and almost hyperventilated when the odds came out. I was all over that.

In the last Soccer World Cup I picked all the winners of the group stage, didnt have much on it at all, but it was so much fun following the tournament in its early stages!
