Well the old fella has been given a rest, despite what people thought of his owner I think everyone loved Zipping.

Champion horse, always gave his best. Four straight wins in the Sandown Classic and multiple other wins and placings in big races.

Enjoy retirement, I am very glad the Sandown Classic is now the Zipping Classic, well deserved honour.

There goes a certainty. I think most of cleaned up with Zipping in the Classic. As they say....thanks for the memories!

Remember him as a really promising horse winning a few on the trot in 2005, including Melbourne Cup day when he showed a nice turn of foot and got out of trouble to win.

Backed him in the 2006 Caulfield Cup but barrier killed him and made no ground from the back, a usual tale over the Caulfield Carnival when its warm.

His finest moments were the Australia Cup win in 2009 and Turnbull Stakes win in 2010, closely followed by the very good 2nd to So You Think in the 2010 Cox Plate. His Sandown classic wins was like Groundhog day each year too.
