They shake hands and grunt, One calls out “heads”,
The umpire chucks the coin,
Sides are chosen then, they nod and turn
Back to the huddles they move to join.
The Dragons are on a mission,
To win their first premiership flag
For the question is, can it be done
With or without the WAG?
Akkaps and Boncer ensure the team is up,
All steamed to go and ready,
The boots are tied, the shoulders strapped,
A team prayer said by Deddy.
Adonis and Amos will give it their best,
Jenny and Shepp a valuable pair,
I’llbethejudge and DangerSloane
Both brilliant in the air.
Pie 4 Life and the great half back
Will be sitting on the bench
Biding their time to inflict some pain
On the Wonders’ bodies they wrench.
LJP86 leading from the front,
With Uncle Leo too
Breaking the lines, they deliver the ball
To BTron, Danoz and Moo
Harpsichord really is on song,
Catatonic Shock a surprise,
It’s Flawed Genius with a booming kick
Right between Doggies eyes.
TheMase and Hawkpatrol
will have the ball at their command
With Chefmeister calling the shots
and a lightening fast left hand.
And so it comes down to the final fourth,
The two teams neck and neck.
But there’s something about this Dragon’s team
As they glide across the deck.
The FilthWizard is a club legend,
he leads in most all stats,
He'll demolish those hapless Wonders
And turn their arses into flattened hats.
The hoodoo is gone,
the seal is broke
There’s no chance now
That they’d ever choke.
One more game to go,

As we take the Dragons
