Congrats to Priddis, I reckon it's great an underdog won but the result doesn't mean either is wrong. They're different criteria.

Potentially both. The umpires fail to recognise that players other than midfielders exist, and typically reward the most high profile, notable players.

The AA Selectors refuse to pick a side that reflects the positions that people play and shoe-horn their favourites in at every opportunity.....

Neither has an impact on the fact that Priddis had a very good season..... How people view it is up to them....
