Versteeg with 10 points in his last 10 games. What the hell is going on?

Let's have a little look at the Oilers' penalty kill and wonder why their team has been awful for so long.

Watch 2 periods of hockey for zero Stars goals... Head off to work and they score 3 in the period. I'll take it.

Klingberg is off to quite the start.

Dillon lost his way after a strong first 1 1/2 seasons..struggled since a late season injury last year and just doesnt seem to be working in dallas..i could tell nill wasnt sold him after refusing to budge on anything more than a 1 year deal, but there is a lot of potential and a good partner in san jose will see him offer alot of value.

Bradesmaen is demers more defensive?? I hope so.

Im hoping Nill is trying to shore up the defensive side of our game

EDIT, according to HF demers is more offensive. ahh wll at least hes right shot.

You're next Jordie, you're next son.

In all seriousness this isn't surprising. Wish it could have turned out better with Dillon at the Stars but ah well. Don't mind the thought of him in a Sharks jersey for some reason.

Majority of the Sharks fans are singing hallelujah.

Yeah.. it is his PK time that makes us go from Top 1 to top 10.
92% of PP goals against were scored when Demers was on the PK.

Not according to the Stars:

"Demers, 26, has posted three assists (0-3=3) in 20 games played for San Jose this season. His 30 hits are second amongst San Jose defensemen and he has yet to be on ice for a power play goal against in 21:14 of shorthanded time. He set career highs in goals, assists and points (5-29=34) in 75 games played during the 2013-14 season."

That 3rd round pick will be used in a trade before the deadline. Sharks keeping 35% of Demers salary and he's a right hander which was much, much needed in Dallas. Fair enough move by Nill.

EDIT: Our issues with the NHL team have really ****ed over the Texas Stars as well. Poor bastards.
