Paul Marsh:

I don't have any issue with what Paul Marsh said. If we didn't have the governance issues this likely wouldn't have gone as far as it did. We've already been punished for that so we move on with players cleared to tear the comp a new one in 2015 and beyond.

What the **** actually did happen? Hopefully now we can focus to figuring that out and making sure it doesn't happen again.
Ziggy's report was a long time ago, the club didn't keep good enough records of who was doing what and to whom. It's never been up for dispute that the regime was poorly monitored/administered.

What has now been found is that it can't be proven that any player was given a prohibited substance.

The crux of the matter for our club and for others is that it shouldn't ever get to the point that the players can't say what they've been injected with, nor that the club would inject players and then not keep a detailed record of what they were injected with. It was a major failing and I believe we've paid a big enough price. Time to move on. Hopefully the club doesn't get too offensive at the AFL or ASADA and ASADA doesn't appeal.

All these people calling for mea culpas from ASADA or the press are overlooking the fact that it was a horrible situation almost fully of our own making.
