In all seriousness though, he was bloody fantastic. His goal brought a tear to the eye seeing how pumped he was after the s**t he's been though.

Very promising.

But, he needs to be able to stay on the park now, and like Waite last week, if he doesn't back it up it will be seen as a flash in the pan.

It would have been easy to give up given the horror run he's had. His commitment over many years in tough circumstances can't be questioned - that game is just a public demonstration of a contribution and commitment over a very long period of time to the club.

Honestly, what more could he have done to please people on here with his first game back? Can't ask for much more than what he's given.
