West Coast came with the complete wrong attitude. Amount of times they missed an opportunity to smash hawthorn players in the first half just indicates they weren't ready to go to war.

As for Hawthorn no one cares. You're not a great club, you are a bunch of salary cap cheats irrespective of whether players are or are not getting paid outside the cap. The whole system is broke. Your non-Hawthorn players shouldn't fit into your cap but somehow magically do yet if any other club had them they would pay double, even triple. Player salaries need to be public information and players need to be assessed on their value not their ability to take less money for a flag otherwise equalisation is a load of s**t.

For the person who wants the Grand Final moved from the MCG - fair point but the MCC (Melbourne Cricket Club) have a contract with the AFL that will see the Grand Final held at the MCG until 2035. After this point - who knows. I did hear somewhere that the AFL may look at moving the Grand Final to different locations, but that' cant be done until the current contract expires. So until then.........it is what it is and that's all there is to it.

Absolute fizzer of a game. West coast just completely inept and overwhelmed by the powerful Hawks. Cyril was by far best on at half time, not as influential in the second half but still deserving of the norm. Mitchell, Lake, Frawley and Smith all superb.

Gaff, Sheppard and Butler the only real Eagles to stand up in my opinion. Priddis and Shuey okay but had no impact.

Absolute shame that we got another crap grand final. We were pretty blessed from 2008-2012 with some incredible games, lets only hope next year is better.

As for the Hawks - they're still my most disliked club but far out they're a gun team. Couldn't think of any team in the comp that can match them at their best.
