The last thing we need for the 4th youngest team in the comp is to get rid of experienced, developed key position players. This is why I want to keep Tabs around. We need an experienced break glass in case of emergency key forward.

Why do I feel like you have already volunteered for that job?Hard contest. Everyone needs a massage, a warm bath and a loving cuddle.
Right? Seasoned, reliable depth. We need him for another year.I don’t know if Hamling is quite done yet
Sums up our year perfectly. This ******* team...
Absolutely. Even if next year we pick Davies ahead of him ( if Pearce or Cox out ) he is great to have as an option.Right? Seasoned, reliable depth. We need him for another year.
Hamling was solid today but I think he’s going to be a victim of the list spot squeeze. Also for all those that have been commenting in the Peel Thread that Hamling is cooked/done and dusted/should retire, I think we should acknowledge after this game that he can still be relevant at the highest level, even though he might not perfectly fit the gameplan?
Hayden Young went with Dangerfield all day. Foward, back, middle and tagger. Young can do it all. Impressive coaching move.
Really agree with Treacy. He is one of the talls that I notice really brings the smalls into the game with deft taps here and there to bring the ball to ground. I think investing in him long term is going to pay off.Treacy is really showing some good signs, holding his marks and thinks through his passes. Really crashed the packs also.
Pearce was incredible, Geelong were very good at isolating their guns in good positions, we could have easily been smashed if he hadn’t played so well.
Liked Wagners game also, gives good but not dumb drive.
Well I put $20 on Freo at $11-1, apart from being very excited about us winning, I am also very happy to come out with $220 for that win!I'm not one to spruik betting (I never bet) but damn, I knew the odds on us this week were completely out of whack. We're just love beating Geelong at home
Perhaps the game plan needed a tall to lock down the opposition third forward? Also for all those that have been commenting in the Peel Thread that Hamling is cooked/done and dusted/should retire, I think we should acknowledge after this game that he can still be relevant at the highest level, even though he might not perfectly fit the gameplan?
After all the abuse and complaints about his playing and role as Captain, did Pearce take that on board, and grab the game by the balls? I thought so!Pearce had an absolute blinder. Hamling I thought played a great role and enabled AP to really have a run at those contests. I don’t know if Hamling is quite done yet
