Payne missed this game in Rd 11, will be interesting to see how he matches-up on an inform Tex Walker!

Crows midfield was dominant last time they met, and Lions are still coming to terms with loss of Ashcroft.
This will be a lot closer thank most people think.

Lions by a goal or less

short turn around for the Lions from playing in WA (longest road trip in AFL)... I can feel a crows upset brewing.. i think the crows will surprise this weekend and win a close one.. Lions are due for a home loss and crows are due for an away win!

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised Crows are playing some good footy.

Crows have failed multiple important challenge games this year. Essendon, GWS @ home, Pies x2

Injuries we've avoided all year have come in a rush, with our backline made up of noobs and the Rankine/Rachele power couple out of action or playing like arse.

Gonna get absolutely smashed by the Lions.

Been a good year though, looking forward to 2024.

A couple of milestone games this week
McCluggage sits on 149 & McKenna on 99

Hippy on 147 and Cameron on 196 should get there this year.
Payne on 46.
Zorko on 244. Let's hope he makes it too.
If all goes according to plan Zorko's 250th would be in the Grand Final.:D🤞

We have been the least smashed side all season... but agree we have lost all of these types of games this year... many by a kick.

The players should be putting everything on thr line as effectively an elimination final now.

Lions by a goal or less
That would make for a sorry tale for the crows

Their record against the top 4 this year would read

V Collingwood (1st) - Home - L 1 point, Away L 2 points
V Melbourne (2nd) - Away - L 4 points
V Brisbane (3rd) - Home - W 17 points, Away L (under a goal)
V Port (4th) - Away - W 31 points, Home - W 47 points

It really will be a season of what could have been!!!

Crows by 3 goals.
Tex to kick 6
Crouch 40 quality possessions.
Zorko 2 gouges
Cameron 3 screaming eagles.

Perhaps my eyes were failing me but that Freo v Brisbane game last week was one of the most physically taxing games that I've seen so will be interested to see the shape Brisbane are in today.

Charlie Cameron has really lost the plot with the yelling at teammates this year. Considering he often doesn’t make the right decision either, it’s strange.

Ben Keays rocking a cake top haircut today.

Will be interesting to see where the Crows are at, against a top 4 side away from home.
