Even missing the 1st (zero) round this year didn't help us...

We must have the worst 1st game record in the AFL.

That win against the Cats was their Grand Final hangover game too and late start to preseason.

That win against the Cats was their Premiership hangover game too. They were probably still celebrating their flag on the flight to Adelaide.
Richmond were reigning premiers that year, Geelong were runners-up.

Port kissed on the dick as usual. No peter Wright for their game in a few weeks and no Lever or May next week. How has this club not won a flag in the last 5 years?
FFS today there were two guys at my gym today wearing Port jumpers while they were working out.

You can always tell its March in Adelaide.

Didn't really get rolled in the midfield though - we won clearances, centre clearances, inside 50s, disposals etc... pretty much every stat. We got dominated by Geelong's defensive setup, so missing a couple of great defenders might make a difference.

Obviously still have to deal with Melbourne's midfield though which is quite a bit better than what Geelong had yesterday.

LOL, another who values midfield contributions by looking at stats. We dine out on the stats but our midfield does next to nothing compared to their opponents.

Geelong were +14 from scores from stoppage. All those stats but completely ineffective and touched up by a much more efficient Geelong

We absolutely were beaten in the midfield in the only thing that matters which is effectiveness

Agree. The Bullies touching GC up atm. GC should have beaten us easily last week. Sad where the AFC is at the moment.

From what I’ve seen so far:

At home, confident we are better than WCE, North, Hawthorn, Richmond

Away, we are better than WCE.

I have no faith against any other team home and away.

Unfortunately, NM in Hobart and we double up on the Hawks. Richmond even at AO is 50-50 imho. In Malborne no way.

Don’t we all?
