  • Giving bigfooty less time out over the break so I can freshen up for the 2009 season. Beer tastes much better over summer with a premiership under your belt. :)
Disappointed about Crawf mate? Legend of the game. I was stoked to see him go out with a premiership medal, but probably the right move..
Hey Mate. Not much going on here. Just basking in the glory still.

It's still pretty surreal that after so long we waltzed into a GF win. The boys were awesome.

How's things going in Sin City?
nah i love gilly still! That's why I still keep him in my signature.
Just I like to change things around... and its honouring a bet I had with my friend... very long and weird story, heh.
Mate, yeh had the winner so that was a handy $465 but it was more a story of lost opportunities more than anything. Had the derby winner and was going to put $20 on eah way but my banker got nutted on the line so I changed strategy and backed 'The ****ing Tiger'. Two large missed out on there. Had the first four for the cup and didn't back it because i did my sums wrong and concievably missed a minimum of 12 large and possibly as much as 600. And to top it off in my 10 tris somehow I didn't have that combination and missed another 16 large. In the black but not so happy as I had that race pegged from the get go and missed out. Apart from that, not much. Spending too much time on Big Footy as usual.
Excuse my ignorance, Phil. Congratulations on the Hawks winning the flag. Yes it did hurt saying it but c'est la vie. :)
Phil, you redcarded me on the cricket board last summer, my profile says that this infraction has expired but I still cannot access the cricket forum?
    What is the situation there?
Nah. My second love after AFL is football, Phil. In fact to be honest they're about par. With WCQ's coming up in the lead up to 2010 and ACQ's starting in January, that will take up most of my interest. Cricket is really just a hobby-like love of mine. If Australia and/or Zimbabwe win a test series, great, if they don't, meh. :)
I hope they can step up with Issie leaving. I'm a bit the same, I absoloutely loved his time in Melbourne, am pissed that he's gone now, but can only look back in awe of what he did last year and gave his all for us tonight.

Was just sad to see him so gutted after the loss, he was crying pretty hard, made it hard to say bye to the kid, wish he'd come back to Melbourne. :(

Haha, so everybody was still riding Manlys back? The commentators were no better. :(
shattered man!! how many stormers were there? many? seemed a very pro manly crowd from tv.

was sad to see all the boys who are leaving bow out like that. dunno if you've seen it, or saw it there, issie took that loss hard. :( gunna miss that freakshow
... what a difference a week makes eh mate?.. ****ing gutted.. can't believe that performance.
Hey Phil. Damn the fact that we didn't catch up while you were here.

Wasn't it unbelievable!!!!!! My liver is still refusing to open dialogue.
We won i know that mate i was bloody smashed Phil kicked of to early mate a sprinter not a stayer still cant believe we did it mate 2008 Premiers what a ride Philhawk loving it mate ye ha!:D
Hey mate it was absoluetly awesome! I watched the game at home with the family as i didnt have the balls to watch it around my s**t stirring mates, I was worried about what I would do if they got stuck into my boys. How about you? where did you watch the game
Sure did Phil. Great day, awesome atmosphere. The size of the crowd was nuts. Between me lining up for merchandise and my wife lining up for an ice-cream for my son, I reckon I only saw her for about 20 minutes out of the 4 hours we were there.
I still can't believe we won the 2008 premiership cup. Sounds freaky!!
I hope we do well in this years draft and pull out another gem like Rioli!!
Haha, I wish mate would give anything to get there, have to work all Sunday arvo, was lucky enough to have sunday night off to be able to watch it! :( How unluckys that, 2 teams in grand finals in consecutive weeks, and I can't be at either. :'(
Hey champ! Life here is good but I miss cold weather, lattes and football. How you doing? Sucks being overseas when your team is this hot. Moving to Shanghai next year which will be worse... but yeah quite a few hawks over here. I know more catters though and I rubbed it in very hard. The geelong road picture made its way through my bank's entire asian office up here thanks to me (Aussie bank!)
