If you are going to quote things like that against the wishes of the mods you should at least go with the full offer. Although I don't see any of the players moving it was one of the more favourable suggestions that the Collingwood supporters have put up.

Maybe a fraction over, but some thought Merrett might retire this year, maybe we could upgrade a late pick with north to sweeten a fraction.

Don't think greenwood will be part of the trade, he has requested a trade to collingwood so surely north Melbourne will have to give up their first round draft pick to the pies to make the deal fair, that's how it works isn't it? Pies have a player request to another club and they want a first round pick and high end player, a player requests a trade to them and they need extra for taking a player off your hands?

Even if we can't get in on the Greenwood aspect, hopefully getting him satisfies the pies need for experienced players and they will settle for picks 5+25.

IF Greenwood wants to get to Collingwood then surely our 2nd round pick would help the Pies out in snaring that deal. They can forget getting any of the players they have suggested. What's the point of getting Beams and then give away one of our stars. It's not our player who wants to leave. Surely in the end Collingwood has to take what they can from a bad situation and let's face it pick 5 and a second round pick is more than fair for a player who wants desperately out. In the end Lions will hopefully stick to their guns and if Pies don't blink then they can deal with a disgruntled player. We are in the position of strength.

He's out of contract so they'd pretty much have to, but even 25 is overs for mine...

Levi is 26, had one above average season in the AFL system and yet to play 75 games. Another Rischitelli in his final season with us for mine

Pick 5 + a mature midfielder entering his prime who came third in the B&F of a prelim final side.

You can sell that to the fans, and it suits their narrative of a high pick and someone who can slot straight in.
