Shouldn't it be their job to keep such records? I wish there was something else I could come up with but I'm all out of moves.

Any chance you can provide the number of behinds kicked by Andrew Krakouer for Coburg, Rhett?

Yes mate it should be their job you never know I guess.

Definitely up to you mate, but a simple email could get you the answer you're looking for. The worst thing that can happen is they'll say "we don't have it". If you do find out somehow let me know.

You could probably send an email to the VFL, they too should be able to help.

Ok will do when I get some time, thanks for all of your help :)

I went on to Coburg's website and found their email address and sent them an email. So with a bit of luck hopefully they can help.

Mate a few questions if you could help me with them (if possible and also thanks for your help so far). You say Andrew played 17 pre-season (Wizard Cup/NAB Cup etc) games. How many of the 17 games were for Richmond and Collingwood. Also you said he kicked 16 goals in the pre-season comp, how many of those 16 goals were for Collingwood and Richmond. Also if possible (this may be a hard one), how many behinds too - as in behinds kicked in the pre-season. Also his VFL goals, he kicked 63 goals in the VFL, how many VFL behinds did he kick? Ive got his WAFL behinds and AFL behinds but cant find anything for the VFL behinds he kicked. This task may be a touch harder too. But yeah if any help you could provide then great.

So he kicked 16.5 for accuracy of 76.1%. I mean I knew he was accurate in front of goals but not that accurate.

Very good effort. Can you tell me in which dark corner of the internet you found the Collingwood figures?!

No luck yet in regards to the behinds he kicked in VFL (Coburg) but will update you as we go.

The Herald-Sun used to collect stats for the preseason games, but I don't know that you'd find any archived info now. I copied the stats at the time onto a Word page and then printed them out. Nowadays the AFL's official website are finally posting preseason stats.

If you are willing to try almost anything in an effort to try to find Andrew Krakouer's VFL behinds, you could try e-mailing the MCG Library. I have been inspired to create a similar table for coaches whom I know have coached over 500 senior club games Australia wide. Thought it would look good here instead of starting a new thread.

Such a shame Andrew couldn't get to the magical 300 game mark, he played 271 league games (not including those 17 pre-seasons games), if he had got to 300 then you guys could of added him to the 300 list.

Speaking of the AFL Pre-Season competition, which Richmond playing has kicked the most goals and which Richmond player has played the most games?

I haven't got the Coburg information for you.
I'm working on Richmond's standalone Reserves stats at the moment. http://tigerlandarchive.org/tiki-index.php?page=Reserves+Match+Scores
But I'll ask around to see if there's any info I can find.

Looks as though Wayne Campbell holds the Richmond record for most preseason games (25) whilst Matthew Richardson kicked 47 goals.

How many games did Richardson play in the pre-season competition?

Would be interesting to find out the top 10 or top 20 all time highest goal scorers in the pre-season competition.
From AFL Record Season Guide 2015:-

MOST PRE-SEASON/NIGHT SERIES GOALS: 1956-2013

116 Jason Dunstall Hawthorn
99 Brendan Fevola Carlton/Brisbane Lions
96 Wayne Carey North Melbourne/Adelaide
70 Peter Hudson Hawthorn/Tasmania
70 Stewart Loewe St Kilda
65 Tony Modra Adelaide/Fremantle
60 Matthew Lloyd Essendon
55 Tony Lockett St Kilda/Sydney
54 Dermott Brereton Hawthorn
54 Stephen Milne St Kilda
53 Jeff Farmer Melbourne/Fremantle

I'm not sure why they have a top 11, instead of a top 10!
