Recommitted Tom Papley [wanted to return to Victoria, nominated Carlton - didn't get there]

I think it is more a case that they are happy to trade Papley in order to get the assests required for Daniher.
  2. Masqualero

    Traded 2018 Live Trade: Carlton trade #4 (2019) to Adelaide for #19 (2018) and #9 (2019)

Im not even sure Socrates himself could make out what you are trying to say. Please explain.

Draft Review 2015 - Redo the 2015 AFL Draft

Not even Waite has as much potential as Curnow.
  4. Masqualero

Richmond - What type of players do we need in the draft?

The Tigers rarely have a spare back, they rotate defenders normally from what I understood... The last time they did put a spare back they lost a prelim because they didn't know who to kick to when they got the ball back, they hadn't had to slow down play for so long that it seemed they forgot...
  5. Masqualero

Richmond - What type of players do we need in the draft?

Could probably use a few small forward types IMO
  6. Masqualero

Traded Mitch McGovern [traded to Carlton in a three-way trade involving Sydney and McAdam]

I heard it was similar to what he's already on.
  7. Masqualero

Traded Dylan Shiel [traded with future 2nd to Essendon for #9 and future 1st round pick]

2019 pick is likely 1 - 4 range, much less attractive than pick 1 and you don't have to wait a year to use it if you want youth.
  8. Masqualero

Traded Will Setterfield [traded to Carlton with #71 for #43 & future 2nd round pick]

Players get talked about all the time, we had rumours about Gibbs and Betts that eventuated we also get rumours about Cripps the year after he signs an extension. Get over it. Its also really hypocritical given how you took Scully and Ward to start your franchise.
  9. Masqualero

Free Agency Luke Dahlhaus [joins Geelong as an Unrestricted Free Agent]

Just thought I'd point out the irony. I'd hope that we have a chat with Dahl at the end of the year, would be good for our team. Solid player.
  10. Masqualero

Free Agency Luke Dahlhaus [joins Geelong as an Unrestricted Free Agent]

I know I'd rather support a club that has won a flag recently than a club that lost 2 prelims recently. Just make fun of Carlton/Bris or something, they're easy targets
  11. Masqualero

Free Agency Luke Dahlhaus [joins Geelong as an Unrestricted Free Agent]

I get there are petty squables and such but where does a Kangas supporter get off criticising the performance of the Dogs when they won a flag 2 years ago?

Carlton - What do Carlton do with the number 1 pick?

Carlton 2020 Jetta May Marchbank Docherty Weitering Whitfield Kelly Oliver Dow Grundy Cripps SPS Green Curnow Lukosius Pickett T.Lynch Rayner K.Simpson O'Brien McKay Cerra
  13. Masqualero

Carlton - What do Carlton do with the number 1 pick?

Gee uh, he might end up at Port. Nick Stevens. Look him up. That is an example of a good player nominating for the draft. Lukosios would go to the draft and get picked up by the first team that needs a key forward provided he has lived up to the hype.
  14. Masqualero

Carlton - What do Carlton do with the number 1 pick?

Mate, please read and think before you post. If you do not offer what we want he can either A: Sign a new contract that will take him to FA or B: Nominate for the draft. If he goes to the draft for a second time and he has lived up to his potential you will still need a high pick to get him...
  15. Masqualero

Carlton - What do Carlton do with the number 1 pick?

I know he can go to the draft because I mentioned it in my post. If Lukosios goes to the draft and is as good as everyone is saying you are kidding to think he won't get picked up early. Luke Ball was mismanaged at St kilda and was half the player he used to be (due to OP) when he got picked...
  16. Masqualero

Carlton - What do Carlton do with the number 1 pick?

Then if a deal that is acceptable for us is offered he will be traded, if not he can be drafted again or sign a contract to take him to FA.
  17. Masqualero

Carlton - What do Carlton do with the number 1 pick?

This is the worst possible outcome because if we want a mid we can trade down and get more value. I think take the best kid with pick 1 and try to get mature mids to the club, we have a few talented young mids with almost no one to learn from other than Cripps.
  18. Masqualero

    Recommitted Patrick Cripps [re-signed]

    Who's your sauce? PM me
  19. Masqualero

    Recommitted Patrick Cripps [re-signed]

Funny cause it's true hahaha.... wait a second
  20. Masqualero

Carlton - What do Carlton do with the number 1 pick?

Take the best kid, use 2nd rounders to try and get Libatore and have a crack at F/A like Wallis and Dalhaus.
  21. Masqualero

    Recommitted Patrick Cripps [re-signed]

Not sure, ask Nathan Jones? :p
  22. Masqualero

    Recommitted Adam Cerra [re-signed]

    It would be less painful
  23. Masqualero

    Recommitted Adam Cerra [re-signed]

Your first pick + Bolton is closer to the mark IMO
  24. Masqualero

Recommitted Tim Kelly [exploring trade options home to West Coast]

Due to injury, guy had a broken foot for 2 years... and he was at GWS
  25. Masqualero

    Recommitted Marc Murphy [re-signed]

Correct, boy is my face red haha
  26. Masqualero

    Recommitted Ollie Wines [re-signed]

I doubt it as well to be honest
  27. Masqualero

    Recommitted Ollie Wines [re-signed]

I think if a player is as good and as young as Wines wants to come and you can do it with one pick you do it.
