OK well I'll take my pick now on the assumption that we aren't going through another round after this one.
I'm going to pick a recycled player with this pick. I am dead keen on Carlton selecting him when the real thing comes around but I'll take him here in this draft just to throw his name...
Carlton is me and I am here ready for the pick.
Just wanted to know if we are going another round because it will influence who I select.
What's the consensus?
Before I take my pick, I need to know if this is going to be the last round or not?
It will affect my selection either way.
Also, Fremantle now have selection 72, not Carlton.
I agree.
Hurley will just give us so much flexibility with our talls that as I said, even though he may or may not be the best available at pick 6, if available we should select him.
Carlton already has a fair few tall defenders coming through the ranks (Bower, Austin), as well as the...
OK my pick now.
I'm going to be fairly unoriginal here and pick a player that I think is best available at this selection.
Having gone tall at pick 6 I don't want to pick up another tall.
This is a player that I do believe is quite underrated on these boards. I really like what I see...
Pick 6 - Michael Hurley
I'm not all that convinced that Hurley is the best available at this pick, but I'm going to take him anyway as I think that he'll be the most beneficial to the Blues in the long term.
With this pick, we could be killing 2 birds with the same stone as Hurley can play...
Carrazzo for sure.
Will play all 22 games and is an absolute ball magnet.
Drummond is good, but has been injured and out of the game for a while, so I don't think he will be as good this year.
The Carlton list for 2007 is as follows:
1. Andrew Walker
2. Jordan Russell
3. Marc Murphy
4. Scott Thompson
5. Josh Kennedy
6. Kade Simpson
7. Chris Knights
8. Lance Whitnall
9. Richard Douglas
10. Dylan McLaren
11. Guy Richards
12. Matthew Lappin
13. Luke Blackwell...
Confirmed.
Carlton swoop on their second ruckman acquired during the trade period. Guy has been struck down by injuries over the last few years, but has been given the all clear by the Carlton medical staff.
Prior to injuries, Guy showed great promise, and we are confident that he will be...
Confirmed
Andrew has been developing in the reserves for the Swans over the last few years. He was going to come into the team next year. With the addition of Andrew we feel we have gained a young developing ruck who has alreasy come under the developmental eye of Paul Roos and the Swans...
