I know his family and it gave me an insight as to what all AFL players go through.
I asked his brother once how Lachie was travelling, he said he had a jab in the second quarter and couldn’t feel anything below his knee for the rest of the game. Was in agony on his way home from interstate on the plane.
He played the next week. Comes from a great family and was sickened by some of the stuff written on social media. Congrats on your career Lachie!
 
Well done plow. Played in the dark years trying to hold the backline together. Gave 100% everything.
If he joined us later he would go by a different name. Doc doherty.
