If Jones wins, he will be the only player to win 4 B&F's. Tied on Stynes with 3
Nah, Stynes and Allan La Fontaine both won 4 each. Laurie Fowler, Hassa Mann and Jack Mueller all won 3.

First father and son to have won a B&F at Melbourne surely? Wonder how many times that's been done around the league?

I think Viney will win it.

Missed 6 games last year and only lost by 1 point to Bernie (who had an awesome year). Plus, Viney has improved even further this season.
Don't want to blow my own trumpet but I'm bloody awesome at predicting things.

I think Gawn should have won it, but at the same time, well deserved young man. Far from the most skilled player to don the red and blue but right up there with the most professional, ferocious and all-round impressive.

OK I'll be honest, thats a shitty voting system if Gawn isn't even top 2 FFS
I do feel gawn somewhat attributed to Jones and Viney's votes

Watsons, Fletchers, Abletts, Liberatores and Silvagnis come to mind. On looking it up, also Jack and Tom Clarke from Essendon, and Bert and Teddie Rankin from Geelong. Plus my favourite is the Murphys who have three generations of B&F winners, all at different clubs -- Leo (Hawthorn), John (Fitzroy and Sydney) and Marc (Carlton).

Yea, joke, no offense to Viney but without Gawn our midfield arent getting first use. Without Gawn we dont win 10 games either. I think we all know who is more valuable.

I laughed at Vince ahead of Jetta also but happy to see Nev finish top 10.

Good to see Hunt lead all rookies. Well deserved and not bad for a bloke who couldnt even pick up a RS nom. #joke

Viney will win another B&F someday which will be even more deserved. Not that this one isn't, but he more than anyone else will know that he could have had a better season.
maybe he did exactly what the coaches wanted, sacrificed his own game for the good of the team?

Coaches vote on what is expected of the player and how they play there role, outsiders (like us supporters) only vote on who looks good
