Another year, another draft, and this year only one question remains: who cares?

We're in foreign territory this year, with our first selection outside of the first 15 picks. Apparently they don't give the premiers high draft selections - how unfair is that! They call it "equalisation" - a notion that I have very recently (about eight weeks ago) become a staunch opponent of. Let the strong stay strong I say!

Our selections this year are 18, 26, 50 and 74, though they will move around slightly given academy and father/son bids.

Fox Footy will begin broadcasting Gil's bedtime stories at 6:30pm AEDT. The first selection is scheduled for 7:00pm AEDT.

Good luck to the club (not that they need it) and all draft hopefuls.

As for non-phantom rumours, whispers suggest that we will take Bob Murphy with our first selection in the draft. The club is quietly loving the main board tears whenever his name gets brought up. Perhaps he will be knighted during the ceremony as well.
