Oddly, there is Lib candidate in Perth who has the surname Goodenough - on a hiding to nothing with that I reckon - is fighting to hold his seat too!

On the cusp of $20m...hopefully smash through it this weekend. Got a stack of cash on the bench so hopefully can take advantage of it over the byes.

Sitting at 19.71m post-trades with virtually no cash left over. Happy with that.

Honestly though, I’m not sure team value this year is going to be the barometer it usually is… cash gen has been so off the charts that I would think even those down around the 19 million mark will come out of the byes with ‘completed’ teams (or very close). Usually it’s only those right up the top of the team value rankings that can do that.

Currently fielding Rozee/Martin/Daicos. Not enough for a double upgrade, so thinking of the following:

Option 1: Rozee / Daicos > Soligo (Mid DPP) / Gunthrie
Positives: Minimise cash loss fielding only one of Martin/Daicos. Retain (VC) loophole Skinner.
Negatives: Have to field one of Carol, Mccomb, Clark.

Option 2: Rozee / Skinner > Hollands (Mid DPP) / Gunthrie
Positives: No rookies on the field.
Negatives: Miss out on current rookies (Soligo/Stephens/etc). Likely cash loss on either Daicos/martin. Lose (VC) loophoop option in Skinner

Thoughts? Leaning towards option 2. Improvements outside of deleting team?
