VFL GF is at Princes Park going forward. And Port is out of action at the moment due to its poor condition, which is why no finals there yesterday, and why we are likely to be at City Oval this week.

Unless my info is bad… Box Hill City oval is 140m wide, Princes Park is 127m wide. Edit: Box Hill City oval is actually 150m wide. It is a unique ground more like the MCG than most other grounds. By memory it was actually the Docklands that is 140m wide. And this is why I had hoped the GF would be played there.

As further comparison I think the MCG is 149m wide
and Werribee’s oval (called Avalon) is 120m wide.

Box Hill would be 140m (boundary is 2 x 5m). Princes park is almost a circle so that width surprises me.
