sorry guys But I am confused around the narrative that Essendon went into GWS game with a slim finals hope, if they'd won and even if Dogs had done as expected and won it would be the same situation as now (beat pies and cats beat dogs and you're in) how is that slim??? so even despite their disgusting performance... If GWS lose, Dogs lose and they somehow lift vs Pies they make it??

Carlton basically locked in at 5th now unless Swans belt dees and Saints upset lions... GWS look a good bet this week but won't touch it until we see how Essendon and Dogs go.. if either of them win GWS has huge incentive as will need a win to make it... expect the 15.5 to come in to around 6.5 if GWS incentive goes up into a must win to make it situation

ALSO INCENTIVE FOR HOME FINAL if Brisbane beat Saints nicely to make Saints percentage similar to GWS and Sydney lose to dees... so GWS will obviously know exactly their situation by bounce time.. could be a basic dead rubber vs carlton if unlikely situation of PIES, CATS, SWANS SAINTS WIN.. in a more realistic situation Pies, Cats, Swans, Lions win then GWS would have incentive to overtake Saints into 7th to avoid a Carlton week 1 match in Melbourne and Instead get Sydney in a 6 vs 7 final.

Collingwood by 100+ is the safe bet this week.
I think Essendon could somehow muster one huge effort despite their disgusting game vs GWS... a game vs Rival Pies is always an upset chance despite form and ladder spots normally.. they really need to bring in some of the youth to replace the tired insipid players bring in energy guys like WANGANEEN, DAVEY for a full game , Baldwin etc.. its so obvious

Anyone willing to touch DOGS at 2.45 after that train wreck vs Eagles, Geelong can't make it so incentive is there for dogs to rebound... is Libba back?? he's a key and they should shorten with him coming back but they rarely beat geelong

Gold Coast yeh surely win so North stay at 1 for Harley Reid?? Brisbane need to win to get the golden path of home final.. so a GCOAST/BRISBANE/GWS +40.5 handicap looks good at pointsbet 1.93

Have you seen our percentage? We would need to beat the Pies by ~150 and rely on the Giants losing by about the same margin to make up the difference.

Dogs already wound in to 8.5 at pointsbet prob go to 5.5 when Libbas announced in so can middle with 11.5 at bet 365.. I'd think Geelong have the type of characters that won't want to see a team celebrate and make finals on its home deck as they will be missing out on September so I simply can't back the dogs on the motivation factor and also Geelongs great record vs them..

FYI the middle hit in Richmond vs North where it was around 6/8 point gap of -24.5 richmond and the -31.5 or so it got to (won by 29)

so brisbane needs to win to maintain 2nd, saints are already in kinda with nothing to play for just position, surely they MAY rest a few or not go 100%. At gabba. brisbane trains all day

They're not resting any players with a home final on the line. Not that it matters Lions still win

Dogs have had finals on the line vs bottom 3 teams with nothing to play for the last couple weeks and been disgusting. They should get smoked down at KP if they bring anywhere near that level of form

Cameron/Hawkins won’t play & there could be others put on ice, so they’ll lose all shape up fwd. Your boys atleast had Allen/Darling as reliable avenues to goal, so not sure how they’ll kick a score.

Libba back, heat on Bevo all week, Dogs will lift & win. Get on while they’re still even money.

On danger 4 too. Also mixing Isaac smith 2 and 3 around in some multis
