LOL one is in India, the other on cricket grounds.

You know that English grounds are about the same size as Indian ones right?
Headingley’s boundaries go from 60-75m depending on whereabouts you’re hitting.
Trent Bridge is between 60-70m basically all the way around.
Edgbaston is little more than 60 in most spots and literally DURING THE 2019 WORLD CUP it was complained about for its boundary sizes.
Old Trafford’s biggest boundary during the 2019 World Cup was 75m, the smallest, 62m.
The Oval is basically 68m all round.
Lords is the only major ground in England that has a boundary - and this is only when they have the boundaries pushed back into the corners - above 80m.

Do some research next time.

What an unmitigated disaster for NZ

Really self inflicted twice in a row, winning the toss and conceding huge scores.

May serve well if they need to chase in the knockouts, but they are in danger of falling out of the 4!
Obsession with chasing atm is laughable.

Most teams are getting sent in scoring 350 and winning.

Why bowl and field in India during the hottest part of the day.

What game has the dew actually come into it this World Cup.

None

It’s one of those stupid things that builds up into mythical status like the twilight period with a pink ball or establishing that ‘so and so has a weakness against spin because they once got out to Shane Warne’ but in reality is an almost non-existent factor

South Africa look a scary side, reckon if they can with a semi, they’re a massive chance to win it all, the semi is the big one for them, would hate to face them.

It should be a sa vs India final both just look mile above rest but who knows knockouts are a different beast and sa and India have their issues with this stuff in icc events.

South Africa v Australia in a semi looks about right. I think Australia would prefer to face SA over India in a semi though.

With Maxwells injury too, it hasnt come at a good time. South Africa are a damn good ODI side one must say, and you could make a strong case their Top 6 is better than Australias Top 6.

Also you would imagine if they did play a semi final, SA may be tempted to play 2 spinners. against Aus, which probably means Shamsi gets a look-in.

It’s the scores they’re making that’s scary, in, scoring 350+ for fun, I reckon we can score big too, but too reliant on Maxwell and Warner to do so, SA have more batting depth and power, bowling about even, SA better spin.

Would be an epic final.

Can they do it chasing though when the pressure of a world cup semi final is on the line with history of choking and other mental baggage that comes with it.

You would almost think South Africa biggest hurdle is getting to the final and handling the semi final occasion.

Similar to teams who lose prelims and can't get there to GF day. But once they do its almost a big relief.

And the thing is, I dont think South Africa fear Australias spinners. eg Zampa in particular. They clobbered him for 113 in one match recently.

You could make a case that the toss will be crucial if its an Australia v South Africa semi.

Could Australias campaign be unravelling right in front of our own very eyes?

England will want to win even if they had a poor campaign anyway.
Must win for England, depleted Australia with CT qualification on the line

Marsh is for personal reasons with an indefinite return date as well (at this stage) Going to be key for Warner & Head to both deliver again against England.

You have to question how much he wants to be in India at the moment? I mean how much time does Mitch Marsh get to spend in Perth these days? Would more than 6 weeks be stretching it?

Home is definitely where the heart is- even in difficult times.

Yeah they much prefer batting first, no idea why NZ sent them in, lost the game there. If we face them in a semi, bat first and score big, those finals mental demons could come into play, don't think India or Australia will fear it, NZ and SA for sure.

I'm still baffled by New Zealand choosing to bat first after winning the toss. South Africa's strength is batting first. Their weakness is batting 2nd. Take your opponents strengths from then and expose their weaknesses.
