Wouldn't have celebrated many goals harder than the one Cresswell kicked with not long left for us to hit the front. Was an awful, frustrating game. My heart skipped a beatt when Wolff chopped off that kick across our goal, thought we'd lost it
GWS made to look 2nd rate today, zero drive off halfback and if it does get into their forward line, it goes straight back out

Not saying he would've made a difference in regards to their recent form woes, but GWS dropping James Peatling after he was arguably their BOG against us probably didn't help. That's the very definition of not selecting on form.

there's a lot of ordinary and inconsistent teams
there are a few good teams that are susceptible to "down" games (as the giants are experiencing now, and like, say, carlton, or port)
there's the likes of gold coast or fremantle or adelaide, who show a bit and could (and should) continue to improve
there's collingwood, defending premiers but with question marks, and maybe melbourne, very good at their best but also with question marks ...
and then (trying to stay level-headed) there's one team clearly performing above the rest
we're not even halfway and there's so much still to unfold but right now, but as you see on the main board among fans of other teams, there's really not many teams being talked about as genuine contenders
and there is a fair bit of wishful thinking, even delusional thinking
