Yet Harris was an elite inside midfielder prior to 2008 anyway.
Had his best year in 2007. Had elite games. i don't think he has ever been proper elite though....yet.

I reckon the biggest home truth for Harro was delivered collectively by the other 15 clubs when he threw himself out on the open market to test his value.Harro needed some harsh home truths.
Laidley delivered them brutally.
Relax.Would you say Ziebell more than Swallow based on todays showing?
First loss where our turnovers are highlighted as the problem, Spita may be the victim.
Still think Simmo, Brady, Spitz and the (normal) Power, combo isnt sustainable against quality and will bring us undone, perhaps even next week. Harro will be in before round 4 IMO.
Rawlings hasnt played midfield all year. Has been played as a ultra defensive defender (defending against dangerous smalls).Nothing wrong with Spitz and Powers game yesterday, Rawlings should not be there! Harro / Ross and Warren should be fighting for Lower and Rawlings spots imo
Just wondering where Daniel Harris is at.
From memory he only played one of the nab cup/challenge games and obviously didn't play yesterday.
I haven't heard anything about him being injured so just wondering if anyone has any updates as to what he needs to do to get into the squad?
Call me crazy but I can't see us winning a premiership this year without Harris in the guts playing the best footy of his career. From a development perspective though I guess that could be another story. Who would have thought that the success of a possible Thompson / Hansen / McMahon combo could determine his fate.
Gawn?
Hopefully he can turn it around, its in his hands to push for selection by consistantly performing in the Magoos.
Good luck Harro

I guess with the noises coming out of the stronger midfielded teams, you will find a lot of pure ball winnining midfielders spending more time up forward instead of resting on the bench (ablett, judd etc). A defensive tagger (as opposed to midfield tagger) could be the way to go for Brady. I know all defenders are taggers in a sense but I think you will find that if we zone off in defense, brady will be staying with his man and unlike last year where we played an 18 man zone at opposition kick ins, it looked as though yesterday we were playing 16 man zone with brady one out with Davey and a pure full back minding the back half of the ground (even though there was no-one else around). Minding the back half in case of a fast break/counter attack move.
