Thought his offensive work today was good at times, let himself down a little here and there but don't they all? Did well on Steven after half time.

As a side note, I'd say his technique of tackling is the best in the side. Absolute text book.

Steven was getting bloody involved in the first half. It was a good comeback from him, wouldn't say that he's had his best day however.

Jacobs did his job today he can't keep the best players down every game but after quarter time i'd say he beat Stevens but i'll take evens anyway....

I thought he had another good game. Really helped us win the ball inside the clinches, broke tackles and helped us get it outside.

Steven was OK, but he didn't get too much ball forward of center, where he is most dangerous.

The biggest praise I can give him is that I am confident he will play his role every week, and there isn't too many in the team that I would put in the same boat.

Feel like Jacobs got the chocolates today.. just. Only on the back of how damaging he was going the other way with his clearances etc.

Pleasure to watch, seems to have this sense of when his opponent is going to be used at a stoppage and sticks to them extra tight, they take possession and he buries them into the turf a microsecond later. Makes them earn every possession.

Spot on this. It was very important he brought that into his game. His opponents need to be conscious of him getting the ball too, otherwise they know they are free to just play how they want to play
