Wow not a lot of love for the Jets! :(

I think we'll finish about 7th or 8th, lot of rebuilding and transitioning this season with a new manager, new players and the lost of a few big names from last season.

Taylor Reagan and Jacob Pepper are spuds. Could not believe it when I saw Flores and Jeromino on the bench on Saturday. Poor coaching

Yeah, was a bit surprised to see both Flores and Jeronimo starting on the bench - must not have been 100% fit I guess or maybe Stubbins had other plans? In fairness to him, we were probably (marginally) the better side against CCM but didn't get the result. Will have to see how he goes with more time with the team.

I think our best CB pairing will be Jaliens and Regan (though I wish we had of kept Connor Chapman who I reckon will be a pretty handy CB when he gets a bit older. Pepper is more of a utility and might get more game time in midfield given we're pretty light there (apparently his preferred position).

Dat second place team... lol.

Two months into the season, I'd like to change my ladder prediction please :p

1. Melbourne Victory
2. Adelaide United
3. Sydney FC
4. Perth Glory
5. Wellington Phoenix
6. Brisbane Roar (somehow they'll make it)

7. WSW
8. City
9. CCM
10. Newcastle

I think the top 4 will definitely finish like that. Wellington has a good squad and should finish in the 6. The last remaining spot will go to Brisbane I think. Somehow they'll sneak in, being Brisbane and all that...

Looking above, I bet there's a few here who'd like to review their pre-season ladder predictions after this round.

Anyone think the ladder would look like this after 8 rounds? I sure didn't. Though some positions are less surprising than others.

Perth 19
Melbourne Victory 18
Adelaide 17
Sydney 16
Wellington 12
Brisbane 7

Central Coast 6
Melbourne City 6
Newcastle 4
Western Sydney 3
