1. 1979 Fitzroy finished 4th out of 12 teams.
2. 2011 Geelong 2nd on the ladder and Premiers
3. 1979 Collinwood finished 3rd on the ladder out of 12 teams and grand finalists
4. 1919 South Melbourne 2nd on the ladder out of 9 teams

So all 4 bigger scoring margins were by top of the ladder teams.
Very good point. A premier, a reigning premier, a grand finalist and a strongish side that finished 4th. This Sydney side is nowhere near those levels. It's a disgraceful loss, maybe the worst in history.

Swans Bingeing on Eagles today.
Eagles Kayo'ed in the lop sided fight.
Eagles last Stand was more of an Australian Crawl.
It's Paramount that the Eagles turn up next week when they play the Saints at home on Sunday.
Eagles are Primed and ready to get smashed again next week.

Equal 4th biggest win in history 171 pts (equally with south Melbourne over saints in 1919 at lake oval)

Interesting anecdote I've heard about that match in 1919 apparently Saints were down to like 15 players on the field by half way through the last quarter due to injury and a few other Saints players decided to enacted their own mercy rule and proceeded to just walk off the field in the dying minutes.
