The 2024 Marsh AFL National Academy Boys squad will don the Australia jumper for the first time this year when they take on VFL outfit Coburg at IKON Park this Saturday, April 13.

Not a close draft watcher but going off this game alone tis years academy prospects look considerably worse than last years.

Trainor best so far for the academy, Ashcroft, Lombard and Camporeale have some neat moments as well.

I thought Smillie had a good start. More poise with ball in hand than his teammates. Lucas Camporeale nice ball use coming out of defense. Trainor took a couple of good grabs but also gave up a F50 mark by not going for the spoil when behind. Ashcroft typically busy. Gross found a bit of it but blazed away.
