From 1:30pm, more details here http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-02-20/ask-the-coach-john-longmire

What question will you be asking?

"How proud are you of your best coaches award in 2014?"
"Why was Tom Mitchell dropped after 29 disposals and more tackles than any of your other midfielders managed in a game all year?"
"Will you encourage your sons to play for the Swans through the academy to maximise Norf tears?"

Ill just ask in relation to our last game WTF?
"How could the players not be motivated for the Grand Final when they were lead by the coach of the year?"

Why is there Hawthorn supporters trolling the questions on facebook?
Cause they're pretty much the scum of the Earth and will disappear the instant they barely finish in the 8 next year.

What? Me, bitter? Don't know what you're talking about ;)

In solidarity with the players' Grand Final effort, Longmire put in 13 minutes worth of work (answering 11 questions) and then disappeared

In summary:

Dane Rampe might play in midfield, he might play in defence
Malceski's replacement might be Laidler, or it might be McVeigh, or it might be Jetta
Kurt Tippett will play as 2nd ruckman
Ben McGlynn will play somewhere, in some position, in some role
Sam Reid may play more time down back
Harry Taylor is the best defender in the AFL
He was inspired by Dennis Pagan
Robinson and BJ have impressed in preseason
All of the draftees are incredible and impressing the club

There is no way he is going to answer everything truthfully. Just a PR exercise from the social media team.

Can't please everyone

I was trying to save people the trouble of reading through an hour's worth of posts on the page like "Don't you think COLA should be scrapped?" and "why can't you beat Hawthorn?"

I detest how pitifully the fans are treated by the Swans. Give us something to get excited about all this secrecy so we catch Essendon in round 1? It annoys the heck out of fans.

Give us something to get excited about

If a team with 22 players pulling on the Swans jumper in Round 1 doesn't excite you then your priorities regarding the Swans will NEVER be forfilled. As for how the club treats the fans via the media, I wish the club invoked the EPL media policy to show people such as yourself that it could be much much worse with no access to the players and only one interview from the coach the day before the game with the TV commitments thrown in.

But hey daily access during the season to the coach (plus most weeks during the pre season when there isn't anything to report), media commitments as part of TV contracts and endless reporting via interviews on the club website is real pitiful:rolleyes:

You just don't like the message, so what?
