Keen to work on a boat and pulling in nets and pots.

Did this line of work once for a short time many years ago in QLD.

Would like to get back into it and not just a short stint but something ongoing.

Any suggestions or anyone know a quick way to get that sort of work here?

Nothing?

Google surprisingly is giving me nothing as well.

When I lived in Mooloolaba in QLD there was quite often jobs going on the trawlers. My suggestion would be to go to a fishermans market ask where they get their product from and then go there and ask around.

Seems like an industry where it's more about who you know

Yeah, last one i got was on gold coast out of the news paper.

Will have to do what you suggested plus just go around the mariners etc and ask around i guess.

Yeah the industry seems more hidden down here. I'm sure you would be able to get work easy enough just need to find where and who!

How do you get those jobs that you see in that show on the Discovery Channel? Forgot the name. But it looks fun, adventurous and i like the sense of camaraderie - no homo
