If this is true then what is the point of this hearing demonstrating facts that have no impact on a result if a pre-determined ruling was always going to occur. Turns an already existing Circus into a Disneyland.
100%. Your body follows where you eyes lookWhen I learned to ride a motorbike, I was taught about target fixation. For those unfamiliar with this, essentially when riding a bike, if you fix your sight on an object, you’ll ride into that object.
I reckon this same phenomenon is what happened with Brayshaw. As soon as he looked at Maynard, he turned towards him.
Anyone who rides a bike and ever experienced this will understand.
No.Secretly I think Maynard did it a little bit on purpose, will be rapt if he gets away with it
I know this may sound strange but I really don't think Brayshaw saw Maynard until the clash.
Why isn't this s**t being streamed? Would get more viewers than the Depp and Herd case and I found that riveting.
I genuinley dont think he did. Hes an animal but hes mates with BrayshawSecretly I think Maynard did it a little bit on purpose, will be rapt if he gets away with it
I agree. Split second for him too, he looks up and then deviates into Maynard. Target fixation.I know this may sound strange but I really don't think Brayshaw saw Maynard until the clash.
Well, yes I know .. but you'd think the AFL would use experts which backed up their argument or not call them at allScience doesn't really have sides but yeah it's strange
VeryThat Gleeson remark about duty of care sounded favourable, yes?
Possibly, but has zero influence on the outcomeI know this may sound strange but I really don't think Brayshaw saw Maynard until the clash.
That sounds very promising from Gleeson.Like he’s almost telegraphing what the verdict will be.Prelude to being cleared.
Did the AFL really present a case?
Jumping with momentum (that carried him forward 1-2m) might be inherently dangerous. No evidence or even argument to show this.
He should not have decided to turn his shoulder at the point of impact, instead putting his arms out to cushion the blow. With the little time he had that could have ended worse for both of them and if Brayshaw then braced, Maynard would have ended up concussed.
Maybe he was a bit fuzzy from the knock to his head earlier...I know this may sound strange but I really don't think Brayshaw saw Maynard until the clash.
In real court cases Judges do this a lot. That sounds very promising from Gleeson.Like he’s almost telegraphing what the verdict will be.
If you look at his eyes he was admiring his own work and didn’t see MaynardI know this may sound strange but I really don't think Brayshaw saw Maynard until the clash.
YepThat sounds very promising from Gleeson.Like he’s almost telegraphing what the verdict will be.
Especially considering he was right in his line of sight jumping upMaybe he was a bit fuzzy from the knock to his head earlier...
They don't have to.Hopefully the pies argue (with evidence)
Brayshaw does brace - doesn't put his arms out
Don't tell anyone.. but I think Bruz is both impressive AND remarkable.Prelude to being cleared.
Of course he didn't, most players would evade or run the other way.I know this may sound strange but I really don't think Brayshaw saw Maynard until the clash.
